Harä means -The Supreme Pleasure Energy

What is Supreme Pleasure Energy or Harä?
The Vedic literatures describes spiritual energy as the topmost energy man can interact with. The Vedas, being the greatest and oldest scriptures of the world also says, the internal spiritual energy is of the same spiritual nature as God. Spiritual energy has the qualities of eternality, full knowledge and full bliss. In every living being a minute particle of this spiritual energy is contained within the material body. Harä, according to the principles of the Vedic science, is the same Supreme Pleasure Energy (eternity, knowledge and bliss), which has an actual form and nature. Nothing in spiritual life is formless. Every thing is a person- an entity. Just as every thing we can see has a shape, size, attributes etc. The material world is however a perverted reflection of the spiritual world. The spiritual energy is protective by nature, and the material energy is destructive and illusory by nature. Therefore Mother Harä who is the eternal consort of the Supreme Himself, gives feminine protection like a mother gives to her children. This protection also includes the protection given by the father. This is why Harä when applied to the body, mind, and soul through gentle persuasion, touch, sound, smell and taste can give relief to all beings both materially and spiritually. Here is a quotation of a pure spiritual teacher who realized the pure existence of the Hara energy.
“The chanting, the purpose of chanting is that it is addressing, Hare. Hare means addressing the energy of Krsna. The energy is called Hara. Krsna is called Hari, and His energy is called Hara, or Radha. Krsna, Radha, or Hari, Hara. So the form of addressing is Hare. Those who know Sanskrit, there is… The example is just like later. Later word, the note of address is late. Similarly Hara is the word, and the note of address is Hare. So the request is “O the energy of Krsna, O Lord Krsna, please accept me in Your service.” Without going through the energy of Krsna, nobody can approach Krsna”

It is a foolish proposal to try to demand or test spiritual energy from the point of view of proving or asking for material proof and other things. The existence of this spiritual energy cannot be seen through material means and so-called scientific tools, which are made of inferior material energy. People who propagate the testing of spiritual energy are lacking the original understanding that spiritual energy cannot be proved by using inferior or material energy which is a perverted reflection of spiritual energy. Spiritual energy must be perceived, experienced and realized, and not researched in a way to test the existence or superiority as against material energy. Harä is the Superior Pleasure Energy Herself, and Maya (matter or mata or material mother) is the material energy the perverted form of Hara. Maya, who is also feminine and motherly as well, gives some form of protection but because she is inferior material energy to spiritual energy, cannot give real and eternal protection to the living beings, who belong to the category of the spiritual energy of God. We see the difference of ourselves and our bodies, which are Maya’s property and domain. Each time a death occurs, the spiritual spark which is a minute particle of spiritual energy, leaves the inferior material body and then we see the end result- decay of material energy or nature. This is so for all scientific tools built of material energy. How then can a person who is actually a spiritual being, take a material tool and try to prove or measure in some way spiritual energy. This is called nescience or ignorance. It is not science, it is foolishness born out of a lack of real spiritual knowledge and realization.
The source and purpose of Hara Energy.
The source of Harä and all other systems of healing and protection, either spiritual or material comes from God. God is described in the Vedic Literatures as Krsna or Bhagavan. Krsna means -The All Attractive Supreme Being and Bhagavan means- one who possesses six opulences in full and in an unlimited way, namely wealth, beauty, fame, strength, knowledge and renunciation.
The source of all sciences both material and spiritual is the Vedic Literatures sourced from the Vedas of India. The Vedas is absolute and spiritual in nature. It is Harä in the form of written knowledge and sound vibration. If one accepts it without trying to prove or challenge it, one actually realizes the truth including the real form of Harä and Krsna and all other spiritual processes. It is the challenging and disobedient nature of man that has made him into the fool that he is today. He has lost his finer senses of perception, because they are not being used in this upward direction. You lose what you don’t use. Instead, mental speculation, impersonalism, gross material knowledge and speculative science is pursued only. In other words, only the Maya or perverted reflection of Hara energy is attained. This is the cause of the present state of material ignorance in man. Man has made substantial strides in material progress but not spiritual progress. Yet the make up of man is both spiritual and material. An example is given that if a bird is held in a cage, and one simply cleans and maintains the cage itself, without paying any attention of feeding and bathing the bird, then that bird eventually dies of starvation and thirst. This is precisely the case where man is concerned. Material knowledge and progress simply deals with the maintenance of the body which is only the cage of the spirit soul-the living being. Man should know who he is and who God is and His various energies. This paper seeks to point out the viewpoint of the Vedic scriptures as against materialistic conceptions of life.
A person who seeks refuge in the Vedic literatures under a bona-fide spiritual master, is in a position of life, not by boasting but by actual realized knowledge to explain things more clearly when questions and challenges are put forward by anyone concerning both material and spiritual topics. The Vedic Sciences and spiritual knowledge properly practiced and accepted by humility and through a bona-fide guru, can clear the ignorance of things which seem hard to understand. The Vedic literatures are not ordinary mundane books. The books are not ordinary words written on paper even though it may appear like that. Because the books contain original spiritual science as described herein and spoken directly by the Supreme, or bonafide spiritual masters in the line of such pure understanding, the books are the Supreme incarnated in that form. It is called Shabda Brahmah.-Spiritual Song Vibration, when repeated as it is, gives the effect of clearing the gross ignorance of spiritual misunderstanding. To illustrate this point, a postman hands a letter that was sent by a sender from far away. The only duty of the sender was to place the letter in an authorized post box. Then by a system of authorized transfer by postmen, the mail is eventually handed to the receiver in tact. The Vedic Literatures are directly handed by the Supreme to man, through a chain of authorized spiritual masters, whose only business is to deliver the messages contained in them to qualified recipients. As soon as a person distorts the contents of the messages, that person is not a real spiritual master and therefore misleads humanity. Unfortunately, at this present time, many persons pose themselves as spiritual leaders and cheat the innocent public of real spiritual knowledge. If, however one takes shelter of the direct spiritual energy in the form of Mother Hara, and by extension Father Krsna Himself, both in the transcendental sound vibration form of the Maha Mantra – Hare Krsna Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna Hare Hare. Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare, by vibrating this mantra with the tongue and hearing it with the ears, the Hara energy awakens the dormant Krsna consciousness of the soul or spirit, and that spirit once again becomes attached to Mother Hara, just as a child becomes attached to its mother when awakened by the mother for food and love. That attachment grows into natural love for the mother and the mother then gives unconditional love to her child. This same effect is realized by addressing and chanting the Maha Mantra. By steadily chanting, the imports of the Vedic science, i.e. the Father’s true message becomes revealed on a gradual basis, as the chanting which is a cry for help by the child continues on a sustained basis. The more one cries for help from Mother Hara, the greater realization and protection Mother Hara returns including giving the protection by the father as well. This is the purpose of the Vedic sciences combined with the chanting of the Maha mantra.
Every human being must have spiritual understanding to some extent. It is not good enough to keep people in ignorance just because people have the freedom to be ignorant. A man has also the freedom to kill, but can we say to anyone it is alright you have the freedom to kill so if it pleases you go ahead and kill. This is called misdirection. It is not good to kill unrestrictedly because it is actually against the laws of God. In the same way it is not good to keep people in ignorance, because of the same reason- it is actually against the laws of God. What are the original laws of God and where can it be found? Simple. Everyone, if blessed with good karma, should turn to pure Vedic Texts such as Bhagavad Gita As It Is. and other authentic Vedic literatures which fully explains the science of Harä energy and all other spiritual processes. The explanations found there are not given by any ordinary person or persons. They are given by the Supreme Being- the Greatest Master Himself -God-Krsna and His pure devotees who have fully realized the true Harä Energy. His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is one such person who gave this knowledge to the whole world. He states as follows.

“The word Hara is a form of addressing the energy of the Lord. Both Krsna and Rama are forms of addressing directly the Lord, and they mean ” the highest pleasure, eternal.” Hara is the supreme pleasure potency of the Lord. This potency, when addressed are Hare, helps us in reaching the Supreme Lord.
The material energy, called as maya, is also one of the multipotencies of the Lord, as much as we are also marginal potency of the Lord. The living entities are described as superior energy than matter. When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Hara, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity.
The three words, namely Hara, Krsna and Rama, are transcendental seeds of the maha-mantra, and the chanting is a spiritual call for the Lord and His internal energy, Hara, for giving protection to the conditioned soul. The chanting is exactly like a genuine cry by the child for the mother. Mother Hara helps in achieving the grace of the supreme father, Hari, or Krsna, and the Lord reveals Himself to such a sincere devotee.”

The spiritual qualities of Mother Harä.
Harä, being superior energy, emanates directly from the spiritual world. In this material world, there are combinations of energies which form all types of moving and unmoving objects in this material world. There is the gross material energy- earth, fire, air, water and ether. There is the subtle energy-mind, intelligence, and false ego or the misconception that the material body is the true self or spirit, and that material energy science can prove all forms of energy) and there is the marginal unseen energy- the spiritual soul or life force (the true ego or entity within material bodies). Harä or spiritual energy has Her own form. Spiritual energy itself forms the spiritual bodies, the spiritual minds, the spiritual intelligence and everything which exist on the spiritual platform. There is no combination of energies like in the material world even though the spiritual energies are also variegated. This supreme truth is known to all prophets in the past and those who follow the paths of authentic and bona-fide spiritual wisdom in the present. The spiritual personalities can perform feats which are beyond material science and reasoning by light years. Jesus for example is widely known for his super-natural feats like walking on water etc. Jesus also delivered Harä energy simply by being told someone was sick or dead and who had the required faith (sincerity). Such persons were healed from a distance. So distance healing is not new as well. He also stopped the raging wind and water by extending the palms of his hands towards them, showing his superiority. So spiritual energy when realized, acts differently and is superior to material matter. Harä is the supreme life-force and pleasure energy of the Supreme, and belonging to the origin of all God’s energies. This energy is beyond the material universe. It is the cause of the other categories of energies. It is the life giving substance in all. There are countless examples of persons who achieved full realizations of spiritual energy and who acted contrary to the laws and restrictions of material nature. However this is not the real purpose of attaining spiritual protection. It is not to make a show of super human behavior. It is to fully attain the abode of the spiritual kingdom of God and to attain Love of God in full capacities.
The living being within a body made of material energy is trapped here in this material world. Because of this entrapment, a person cannot actually function properly in terms of spiritual consciousness and awareness. If such a person is again embraced by a healthier or freed person or persons with spiritual love and understanding, this meeting can revive the materially contaminated living being for spiritual freedom. The marginal energy or living entity, when in direct contact with Hara, becomes fully equipped to free himself from the material encasement. In other words, with the help of Mother Hara, the living being child, can attain full freedom in the spiritual world. This spiritual viewpoint of the Vedic Literatures, also confirms the concept of God, being both masculine and feminine.
